- And then, put the torn paper in a hucket and fill it with warm water. Add one tablespoon ofbleach. Soak the paper for half an hour.

- Next, put a cup ofsoaked paper in a blender, add some bleached water and blend it.- Pour the blended paper in a large rectangular container. e.g. sink or ffay.- Repeat step 4 and 5 until all ofthe soaked paper is blended.- Add and mix two table spoon of white glue to the blended paper.- After that, dip the screen frame into the blended paper. Lift and rinse the water for a

Tabtik ceremony is a tradition on the *esffiespecially in Pariaman. It is held at the Asura day which falls on the l0h oi Muhanamof the Islamic calendar. In Bengkulu it was known as Tabot, Tabuik is made ofbamboo,rattan, and paper. During the week of rabuik, many activities are held including kiterace and other traditional activities. Tabuik is also a term used to refer to thJhighfuneral biers carried around during the remembrance procession. on the appointed dal,all participants of the ceremony gather in the ientre of the city. All govemment ofrrciaisalso attended this colossal ceremony in West Surnatra.

Orc Tabuik was carried by 40 people. Behind, Tabuik, a group of people wearingtraditional clothes carry various of percussion. occasionally when the line of people iithe procession stop, dozens of people perform martial arts accompanied uy lvtinangtetabuhan.

The sunset marks the end of the procession. The Tabuik was then brought to ashore and then floated out to sea. This is conducted as they believe thx tlrowin{ rabuikinto the sea will dispose ofbad luck.
