Mohammad Pir , a six year old is bewildered & confounded beyond measures.It has been 7 days since he last saw his mom & dad. Whenever he inquires he

gets one answer, they are dead my son ,deal with it. Now how can he dealwith it when he cant even comprehend what death is all about .he has neverslept without his mom & now desperately longing for her.

Well this is one of the several hundred shattered pieces of the mosaic calledGaza. But do we even care? Or are we clutching every available alibi to lookaway. Human race cant be so callous & apathetic. We must not forget thattoday it is them tomorrow it can be anyone. Monstrosity knows no bound.

But irony is that this matter is being warded off by saying, Its there matter, letthem sort it out . I dont know since when sorting out has taken innocentkillings under its domain. Hospitals, schools, market etc. nothing has beenspared. If this is not deliberate & systematic cleansing then only god knowswhat it is.

UN resolution alone is not sufficient. It must be accompanied by sanctions andcensure. Its time to reprimand and chastise.

Any conflict or genuine concerns must be sorted out on table. Innocent civilianscannot be sacrificed to satisfy the inflated ego of one country. World is roundand what goes around comes back around.

Against:Israel conundrum: to be or not to be

last week western media was left high and dry by the response of Israel whichrefused to buckle down in front of their incessant and visceral campaign & This

is the Concern they are harping about.

Now without getting sentimental and maudlin lets step back and look at somehard facts without being judgemental and prejudiced.

Since its inception Israel has been confronted by worst form of Islamicfundamentalism. It is the region where Al-Qaida, Hamas, Hezbollah and manyhard core anti-humanitarian terrorist organisation call the shots. Jasminerevolution has shown us that democracy is virtually non-existent and humanright violation is norm rather than aberration to begin with. So I dont knowhow much blame can be pinned on Israel alone. Yes it is true that two wrongs

cannot make a right. But right of self-defence is unalienable as well. Everythingmust be seen in context & focus should be on how situation aggravated to suchextent. Merely taking one incident in isolation and bludgeoning the protagonistis in itself a human right violation.

But what about death of 500 civilians & still counting. I am not condoning anyviolence. I dont know if anyone has noticed that these civilians are being used

by Hamas as human shield.
