THE EXAMINATION: 14 DEC 2016

• First Stage (at Exam Centre):• General Paper: Summary exercise, written in either English or

French• Specialized Paper: Multiple choice items and constructed response

items in the substantive area (job family knowledge), to be answered in any of the UN official languages.

• The overall time for the written examination is 4.5 hours plus 1-2 hrs before/after exam

• Examinees pay their travel to the examination centre• Second Stage (for only those successful on the written test)• Oral Examination: Competency-based interview, via video

conferencing
