TONIGHT: Our last small group meeting of the school year will be a Combined BYG
Small Group for teens and families. 6-8:00 pm, in the Activity Center. We are having hot
dogs and hamburgers. Guys bring drinks. Girls bring desserts.
We are honoring the graduating seniors! Join us for a dinner and reception this
Wednesday, May 18, from 5:30-6:45 pm, and then for Senior Sunday during the 8:15
worship service next Sunday, May 22. Laundry baskets to collect gifts for the graduates
will be in the South Foyer until May 22.
Mark your calendars: This summer, July 7-9, we are taking the new 2017 senior class on a
senior trip to Kansas City! We're taking a road trip to have some fun and focus
on leadership and vision for the upcoming school year! Cost is TDB. We hope all our
soon-to-be seniors will plan on coming on this trip!

JAM Luau Date Change —Bon Voyage to our 6th graders! Fun for the whole family complete with grass skirts and leis! The date is now Friday, May 25, at 6:00 pm, in The Lodge. Please RSVP to Debbie Thibodeaux to let her know how many in your family will be attending.
JAM Save the Date—Devil’s Den Outing, Friday, June 2—Meet at the Activity Center at 8:00 am, and make sure to bring a sack lunch!

SP OTL IGHT ING NEW MEMBERS
TODAY is the kick-off for our annual Loving Choices
“Baby Bottle Campaign”. Coins and checks are collected to support the local
non-profit, crisis pregnancy center that offers counseling, mentoring and medical
services to preserve and protect human life.
You may pick-up your baby bottle TODAY, and fill with “change” to make a “change”
in a baby’s life. Bottles will be available through Father’s Day. Congratulations to our College Graduates!

We welcome Melanie Byrd and her
children Ryan and Camryn. Melanie
works at “Hearth and Home” and her
hobbies are reading, exercising and
spending time with her girls. Ryan is in
fifth grade and enjoys softball and
reading. Camryn is in third grade and
enjoys gymnastics and reading. Be sure
to meet the Byrds. We’re happy to
have them as part of our church family!

Hughes to place membership with us.
They come to us from the Robinson
Avenue Church of Christ. Greg is a
realtor with ReMax Real Estate Results
and DeLynn is in accounting with HFA
and Associates. Greg’s ministry passion is
worship while DeLynn has been active
with teaching children’s classes. Both
Greg and DeLynn enjoy fishing, boating
and motorcycle riding. We’re glad to
have the Hughes as part of our church
