Common Trust Infrastructure (CTI) - the
aggregate of trust services operating within the legal,
organizational and technical framework.
CTI is a fundamental, easily scalable infrastructural platform
providing public authorities, individuals and legal persons a
unified access to trust services.
Trust services within CTI are:
• coordinated by some “International Coordination Council
(ICC)” that includes national regulation bodies having voluntarily
jointed the ICC;
• regulated by national regulator or supranational regulator (if
any);
• audited by national and/or international auditors.

High level qualification trust services operate under one or
more international legal agreements, and they meet the
requirements and follow the rules laid down by some

established within some large scale international
projects and follow the recognized best practices for
trust service providers.
Herewith trust services should be audited in accordance
with their level of qualification.
