then sawn in half, allowing a deeper study of the
mass and voids created through a natural element.

shadow, as well as casting with shadow and shade
were used to carve a meditation space.
Design I, Fall 2011_Professor Gaskins

drawing.
Vis Comm I, Fall 2011_Professors Rosner, Birdsong
7

drawn constructively, including moments of all
components and mechanisms.
Vis Comm I, Fall 2011_Professors Rosner, Birdsong
8
LIGHT SHEDRepitition of a single moment creates
a brisolei to shed light or cast with
shadow.

PERFORMANCEA downtown Austin performance space
characterizes duality with both day and
night uses.

ANALYTICAL SUCCULENT DRAWINGThe False Saguaro is symmetrical in form, both
inside and out, revealed through study and
drawing.
Vis Comm II, Spring 2012_Professors Rosner, Mezquiti
11
ANALYTICAL RECONSTRUCTIONThe succulent was deconstructed, then
reconstructed digitally, revealing inherent
structure, as well as parts to a whole
