In 2003 82.9% of seniors responded with a 5 or 6 rating as compared with only 69.3% of seniors in 1989. When asked to evaluate the overall quality of teaching in their major, the average response of graduating seniors in 2003 (again on a six point scale) was 4.64 as compared to 4.33 in 1989.
