No need to replace the kelly sleeve to equip both friction or interlocking kelly bar
or other combination kelly bar.
Optional drilling tools including Bucket, Auger, Core barrel, Roller bit core barrel
to drill into clay, sand, pebble and rock stratums.
Sunward multi-purpose Rotary Drilling rig is a kind of equipment for cast-in-situ boring pile. Key
components including engine, hydraulic pump, motor and hydraulic valve are from international
leading brand. The independently developed retractable undercarriage ensures the competitive
stability compared with other competitors installed with general excavator chassis. The
independently developed control system is of high integration, multiple functions, quick response,
high accuracy. Kelly bar can self-assembly and self- disassembly. The patent parallelogram
system offer big drilling radius and well stability. It can be adopted with various drilling tools,
applicable for construction under complicated geological conditions such as clay, sand, pebble
and weathered rock stratums and widely used in construction of large-diameter pile piers and
high-rise building foundations for highways, railway overpasses and viaducts, etc.

The dedicated retractable hydraulic chassis
independently developed by Sunward
match the practical load. Meanwhile, the
main and auxiliary winches are installed
rear on the rotating platform can greatly
reduce the tipping loads for high stability
during drilling 360°round the rig, and can
also adopt the patent wide & large roller
winches. According to the working features of heavy-duty piling the patent winch
roller (Patent No.: 201010152233.5) is designed to reduce the winding layers
and even to single-layer winding for double increased duration of winch rope,
thus improve the reliability of the machine and greatly reduce the operating cost.
Multiple construction method
Kelly bar and drilling tools
CFA(Continuous Flight Auger): CFA is a kind of method with continuous flight
augering and grouting. As a new type of composite foundation treatment method,
it can ensure high construction efficiency, especially suits for small, dry or
shallow holes drilling.
Casing Oscillator : Casing Oscillator suits wild geologic conditions, even if cased
in hard stratums. With the advantages of high pile forming quality, low noise, free
of mud pollution, it is mainly used for complicated stratums that easily collapse,
with flowing sand, mud deposit , underground river and swamp area.
Cased bored piles: The casing adaptor provide vertical continuous casing to
prevent from collapse. Drilling with casing simultaneously greatly improves
drilling efficiency.

independent intellectual property developed by Sunward through innovation
by absorbing advanced technologies and experience both at domestic and
abroad and its key technologies have been awarded with multiple patents
including national invention patent.
The SWSD series Multi-purpose Dual Rotary Drilling Rig is mainly composed
of Dual rotary table, crawler pile driver & advanced hydraulic electrical control
system and equipped with drilling tools including casing, auger and DTH
hammer, which can be used for multiple-purpose construction. Particularly, it
can perform drilling in an efficient manner on complicated stratums with
pebble, gravel and hard rock. It provide regular and fine-quality bored pile
with high vertical accuracy and free of pollution in construction. Also, it can
solve the technical difficulties in big-diameter bored pile drilling in hard rock
stratums in a high-efficient manner and eliminate the serious mud pollution.
As a new product and construction technology the SWSD Multi-purpose Dual
Rotary Drilling Rig is the ideal environmental –friendly equipment in terms of
energy saving and emission reduction proposed by the state.
Applicable piles: Cast-in-place bored pile, Secant pile, Steel pipe pile, Grouting
pile, CFG & CFA pile, Drilled Jack-in Pre-stressed spun concrete pile, Removal

Main features
The SWMC series Tri-axial Soil Mixing Wall Drilling Rig is a type of
dedicated equipment recently designed and developed by Sunward
according to the SMW construction method and represents a new product
with exclusive intellectual property and its key technologies have been
awarded with national invention patent. The SMW construction method is
to mix self-hardening slurry in-situ with native soil for the construction of
walls for groundwater control (cut-off walls), walls for excavation support
(retaining walls) as well as for ground improvement. The SMW has the
following advantages: small impact on surrounding stratums; water cut-off,
low noise, free vibration, very little generation of spoil; short construction
period, high efficiency, low cost, large wall thickness and depth; high
vertical accuracy of pile, high safety; particularly suitable for engineering
applications in urban subways, high-rise building deep foundation pile as
well as continuous wall for river dyke-dam seepage prevention, etc.
The SWMC series Tri-axial Soil Mixing Wall Drilling Rig use optimized tri-
axial Rotary table driven by special dual-speed constant power motor.
Different rotary speed can be selected according to geological conditions
so as to achieve high efficiency and energy conservation. It features
powerful construction torque, powerful overloading capacity, fine
engineering quality, fast construction speed and extra-deep construction
(Φ850), it adopts electronic control and instrumentation display, from
which the change of current in construction can be visually seen.
Particularly, it can carry the creative equal-wall thickness cutting device and
build an underground equal-thickness continuous wall, which is
characterized by simple construction process, equal thickness and strength
of wall, reliable quality and fine performance as cut-off wall.
The three adjacent slightly overlapping augers and
mixing paddles of SWMC series Tri-axial Soil Mixing
Wall Drilling Rig can carry the creative equal-wall
thickness cutting device that adopt the unique
theory of reacting force roll cutting to contribute
equal-thickness continuous wall.

The equal-wall thickness cutting device is used to
construct equal-thickness continuous wall, with simple
construction process, equal wall thickness, even wall
strength and reliable quality. Meanwhile, the quantity and
arrangement of imbedded steel sheet for cut-off wall is
not constrained.
The column-type continuous wall is of non-equal
thickness and calabash shape, with different thickness and
uneven strength. Particularly, when used as cut-off wall,
the wall tip easily suffers from water leakage. Moreover,

Product introductionThe SWMD97 Hydraulic crawler drill is suitable for direct or cyclic drilling for various types of stratums (including soil,
clay, sand, rock and water-bearing stratums). By carrying hydraulic impact hammer or DTH hammer, the drilling rig can
perform impact rock breaking and hole excavation tasks and satisfy the requirements for construction of infrastructures
such as draining, underground micro pile, anchor drilling, soil investigation, geothermal drilling, foundation improvement
and slope consolidation. Equipped with high pressure pump unit, it can perform jet grouting method and the tunnel

Product introductionThe SWCFG32B Continuous Flight Auger Drilling Rig grout the concrete through the stem
flight auger synchronously during the auger extraction to form the cast-in-situ pile
efficiently. It is suitable for multiple infrastructure project such as CFG pile , cast-in-situ pile,
pre-drilling for precast concrete pile and soft soil ground consolidation and etc. The
equipment is no affected by underground water level in construction, is with low noise, free
of vibration and pollution in operation. Characterized by simple operation, low cost, high
efficiency, fine quality and short construction period, it is particularly suitable for
construction of urban high-rise building and road foundation projects. It enjoys the
advantages of high reliability, high working efficiency, great stability as well as low
maintenance costs and etc.
Main features
Full hydraulic driven, strong power, high rotation speed and stepless transmission
Rotary table adopts two sets of reduction gears and variable displacement motor with
large torque, high rotation speed and high load capacity. According to different
geological conditions it can automatically adjust its torque and rotation speed to
improve the working efficiency. The stem Kelly and augers enable the Continuous Flight
Auger (CFA) drilling application. When equipped with rotation joint, it can perform
construction of super-fluid concrete and high-pressure grouting and etc.
High verticality of pile
The mast is supported by three points bracket and can be controlled in two directions
(front and rear, right and left, or inclined). The X and Y directions of the mast are
provided with pendulous pointers and is convenient for installation and observation by
the operator personnel to adjust the verticality of the mast at any time. The mast is of
large front inclined angle and is of high stability during mast vertical. Two inclined
support bracket can action independently to adjust the verticality of pile mast.
Stable swing
The swing mechanism can swing the pile driver by±180°. The big swing reducer provide
high reliability and stability of swing operation. Meanwhile, the large swing bearing can
withstanding more tipping load and axial force.
Stable traveling and safe operation
Four leg cylinders are provided for the stability of pile driver during operation and keep
machine from tipping accident and its big cylinder feet is more suitable for construction
in soft soil ground and also for easy transportation with its long cylinder stroke.
Humanized design
Key parts adopt renowned brand. The ANSYS finite element analysis is carried out on
structural parts, with more humanized operation design. The electrical, hydraulic,
operating and monitoring instrumentations are integrated in the cabin, simple and
convenient. With full hydraulic crawler, the pile driver can lift up and lay down the mast
on its own and ensure accurate and reliable rotary positioning.
Safe and energy conservative hydraulic system
The hydraulic system satisfies the operating conditions of continuous auger drilling rig,
with less energy consumption, low system oil temperature and high efficiency. It adopts
independent automatic control method of heat radiation and uses imported key parts,
ensuring stable and reliable operation.
Electronic control system
Renowned electrical components are especially for high reliability. All operation
are well relocated in cabin for the operators to easily align piles separately.

Geological conditions: The soil stratum is quite thin. Rock
stratum start only 1m below the soil stratum. There is a
large difficulty in construction and high requirements on
the equipment.
Construction conditions: Pile depth is 19m on average.,
mainly 1.0m dia. And some are of 1.8m dia. 9 units of
drills including international renowned brands and some
prevailing brands in China were sent to the job site.
However, due to complicated stratum conditions the drills
didn’t can’t drill the rock or drill efficiency except
Sunward. Some of the drills can only drill 2 meters depth
in 10 hours. SUNWARD SWDM28 spent only 2hours to
drill 8m’s rock with 1.0m dia. It completely drilled one
pile within 6 hours while our competitors spent 16 hours
only for 2 meter depth.
