– Always stop engine before refueling. Openreservoir cap slowly.

– If a differential pressure condition is no-ticed (whistling sound heard when loos-ening fuel reservoir cap) have vehicleinspected and/or repaired before furtheroperation.

– Fuel is flammable and explosive under cer-tain conditions.

– Never use an open flame to check fuellevel.

– Never smoke or allow flame or spark invicinity.

– Always work in a well-ventilated area.– Never top up the fuel tank before placing

the vehicle in a warm area. As temperatureincreases, fuel expands and may overflow.

– Always wipe off any fuel spillage from thevehicle.

Recommended FuelUse regular unleaded gasoline or oxygenated fuelcontaining less than 10% of ethanol or methanol.Refer to the following table for recommendedminimum octane rating:

OCTANE RATING

Inside North America 87 (R + M)/2

Outside North America 92 RON

NOTICE Never experiment with other fuels. The use of non-recommended fuels can re-sult in vehicle performance deterioration anddamage to critical parts in the fuel system andengine components.
