As a child, I always felt mature

for my age. In my early teen

years, my family·s lifestyle was

falling before my eyes. I

always felt I can make

anything happen through

hard work and faith. I stood up

for my family and had to

make hard decisions.

Eventually, I became the

backbone of my family. Given

this position, I felt like a

leader. I kept encouragement

and motivation in their life,

and mine. I created my own

business of hair braiding,

which I am very proud of. I

came into this class with great

qualities, but there was still so

much more for me to learn.

M y vision is to make sure my family and friends are happy, and

can have someone to lean on in their time of need. I plan to do

this by being financially and emotionally stable. Financially, I will

continue to build my business and continue to go to school tofulfill the knowledge I need to make more money. Emotionally, I

will take learnings from my psychology class and personalities

surveys, then use that information to better myself and those

around me. I am a strong, caring, independent, and reliableperson. I love to make the impossible happen. I strive to show

patience and dependability, with hard work I encourage others

to do the same.



I fell behind on the first couple of surveys and

assessments given, but I was able to go back

and do them for my own benefit. I enjoyed

each one as they answered many questions I

had for myself, for example, ´Why do I think the

way I do?µ In the next few slides, I will describe

in detail the outcomes of the surveys and what

they meant to me.

Taking this test, I wasn·t surprised at theoutcomes. I agree with this test. It is how Ifeel majority of the time. There are timeswhen I feel overwhelmed and I don·tperform as quick at these things as usual.That·s why taking this class helped mesee I had qualities as a leader, but I

wasn·t yet an efficient leader. Stayingconsistent opened my eyes at thebeginning of this class as I delayed andfell behind. It was such an eye opener.

I agreed with this survey95%. At times I tend to slack because of an overload or not enough rest, butmajority of the time I am adoer. I enjoy being incharge majority of the timebecause I like to get thingsdone. Being part of anOtter, shows my

spontaneous andmotivating side. Thecharacteristics from aGolden Retriever has a lotto do with my relationships,warm and caring.

Personal weakness:Beaver Beavers is something I could adapt to, butdefinitely not my firstchoice ofcharacteristics. For

example, I direct bylandmarks instead ofusing maps.



I responded to 8 questions as a rightbrained person, and 10 questions as a leftbrained person. This survey answered a lotof questions on how my thought process

was. Knowing that I process thingssequentially, explains why I love order. I useto ask, ´Why is it when my house isn·t inorder, I can·t think straight?µ Things have tobe in order around me to have focus.

Another question that this survey answeredis, ´Why sometimes in class I can·t expressmyself through words verbally?µ Leftbrained people find it hard to do this.

M y emotional intelligence was

slightly below average. This

test mentioned that it was hard

for me to deal with my

emotions, and overcoming

difficulties in my life. This was

interesting because it seems

like I·m going through this

phase as I write. Sometimes

my emotions get the best of

me.



This test states that I am good withcontrolling my moods. I partially agree withthat. Sometimes is easier than others.Repressing my feelings isn·t good for me,because it causes me to explode whenthere is a small situation or problem. M yzodiac sign is a Gemini. It is definitely abattle trying to balance the two, but I amdetermined to create my own persona. It iseasy for me to move on from pain, but itseems to come back and haunt meemotionally, therefore, it is not discarded



This test results indicated that I was aGuardian, which I feel I am most of the timeto plenty people. Guardians are the

cornerstone of society. We get thingsmoving fast paced, which explains why Iwas so rushy at age 14. They have naturaltalent in managing goods and services.

They have a lot of fun with friends andfamily, but are serious about their dutiesand responsibilities. Guardians make up asmuch as 40 to 45 percent of the population.



I agree with being a Guardian becauseI·m always feeling like I have to look out

for someone. While accomplishing mygoals, I want to display thecharacteristics of being a Guardian. Iwant to be seen as dependable andtrustworthy.

Taking this test was quiteinteresting. A statement

´No one on earth isexactly like you,µ wasmentioned in the results.I don·t know if this wassaid to everyone, or itmeant some specialcharacteristics. I alwaysfelt my mind frame wasa little advanced. I look back on all the thingsI·ve done at a youngage and it is quite scary.I could never think of my14 year old nieceleaving home to be agrown woman. This chartis the sequence of mymind frame.



Sensitivity is definitely something I use allthe time. It·s a hindrance in a way with

conversations. It could lead to so manymisunderstanding and habits of takingthings personal. Learning to control this ishard, especially as a woman. I plan tofind better ways to think of a situationinstead of letting my sensitivity take over.



M y goal is to work on my weaknesses and to combinethem with my strengths to make me a better person.Taking these surveys and this Leadership Developmentclass showed me a lot about myself. I had a lot of

strengths and weaknesses that repeated, like, sensitive,dependable, loyal, controlling, not being able to deal withnegative feelings, etc. M y personalities play a big part inmy life. With my business, I have to be able to relate to myclients and co workers. I have to make sure that myrelationships with friends and family are comfortable.Learning to fix my weaknesses now can definitely helpimprove things in my life along the way. I plan to take allof this good information and use it to my advantage so I

can become the efficient leader I know I can be!
