It lives in the Tatra mountains.
It is the northernmost population of chamois.

The color varies from yellowish brown to reddish.

Some individuals have been found to live over 25 years.

The Sea holly
The plant is under strict species protection in Poland.

It has a light blue color.

11th century-the first King Boleslaw Chrobry- prohibition of hunting beavers
1423- the king Wladyslaw Jagiello- the protection of yew and “large animals”
King Kazimierz Wielki, in the Piotrków-Wiślica Statutes, ordered the protection of forests
King Zygmunt I- took protection over, inter alia, bison, aurochs, beaver, falcon and swan.

An ancient oak tree.
Natural monument since 1952.
Grows in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains.
Is 625 year old.
30-metre tall.
13.5 metres in girth at its base.
