How do you feel when someone waits on you? When someone showers you with the most sincere form of love? I can see it in his eyes; alluring, irresistible, genuine love, someone says. It’s delighting, and awe-some; a living memory, an-other says. How our worship warms God’s heart when it comes from a sincere heart. David said, “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You, O God”. Worship is a universal urge, hard-wired by God into eve-ry fibre of our being. It's as natural as breathing. Jesus said we were made this way because 'the Father seeks...worshippers'. God seeks an unfeigned worship; a true longing for Him. A popular phrase in FOL,

“worship is not singing.” Wor-ship is not even a style, not music in itself. It is not there to make you feel good but to please The Father. I didn’t enjoy worship today; you’ve missed the point. The wor-ship was too fast; you got it all messed up. An unfeigned worship; such an awesome worship our God seeks. It’s beyond expression, its pour-ing our love on him like the oil of the Alabaster woman. All He seeks; come as you are, in your true self, your present state, not cajoled, not dressed up, acted self, even toned music. Sing it in all lan-guages, in all the ways you want. Someone might des-pise it but God delights in it so much that He inhabits our praises. Awesome! Unfeigned worship!
