Subscriptions UniHistory: The Historical Journal of the University of Huddersfield is published annually in January of each year and is accessible online at http://www2.hud.ac.uk/mhm/history. Those wishing to receive the article by email, along with related information, events and deadlines can join the mailing list by emailing [COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER Email address here] Instructions for contributors Editorial policy UniHistory aims to provide a platform for postgraduate and early career researchers in history and related disciplines to publish their work in a peer reviewed journal. Contents include articles based on the author’s primary research, historiographical and methodological surveys, and reviews of recent historical literature. Submissions Submissions from postgraduate and early career historians and those working in related fields are welcome, with submissions from those looking to publish their first article encouraged. Articles covering any historical period, location or topic are welcome. Articles based on primary research or that are historiographical or methodological in nature should be should be sent electronically to [INSERT EDITORS EMAIL HERE]. Review Articles should be submitted to [REVIEWS EDITOR HERE]. If the author is unable to email submissions, proposals are welcome by CD to: The Editor UniHistory Department of History, English, Languages and Media School of Music, Humanities & Media University of Huddersfield Huddersfield West Yorkshire HD1 3DH It is the responsible of the Contributor to ensure that submissions do not breach copyright and that any material reproduced is done so with the explicit permission of the copyright holder (as far as possible), whilst ensuring appropriate acknowledgement is included in the manuscript. Submissions should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles based on primary research or of a historiographical or methodological nature should not normally exceed 8,000 words, inclusive of referencing, tables and bibliography (where applicable). Contributors are also asked to submit a brief abstract of approximately 100 words, as well as a brief biographical statement to be included in UniHistory. Review Articles should not exceed 800 words.
