Downtown Norfolk New Men’s Shelter

● 1 in 7 people in America use food banks

● 72% of Union Mission clients have jobs but still need help getting food to their families.

● People with jobs and homes can still be food insecure.

● Last year 1,415 FAMILY BOXES OF FOOD were handed out by the Union Mission during the

holidays. You made that happen.

Union Mission Goals

● Aid the Poor and Needy

● Feed the Hungry

● Shelter the Homeless

Each Family Box contains:

4 cans of SOUP, 2 cans of CHICKEN BROTH,

2 cans of CHOWDER, 2 BOXES of SOUP,

2 cans of CORN, 1 can of PEAS,

2 cans of SPINACH, 2 cans VEGETABLES,

4 cans of BEANS, 2 cans of CRANBERRIES,

2 cans of FRUIT, 4 cans of MEAT,

1 can of CHILI, 1 can of PIE FILLING

2 packages of DRIED NOODLES,

2 boxes of MAC & CHEESE, 1 BREAKFAST MIX,

1 box HAMBURGER HELPER, 1 DESSERT MIX,

2 boxes of CRACKERS & COOKIES.

Take a STAND and GIVE!● Food Drive Dates: Monday, November 16 - 20th

● Bring in as many items from the Family Box List as we can

● All food items are welcome; avoid glass and check expiration dates

● Advisory groups that bring in 20 items per person earn a comfy pants day! (ex. 12 people in your group = 240 items)
