The ISS is constructed of carbon steel and has a total

height of 2m. The cylindrical vessel is constructed

of Stainless Steel 316 Ti, 160 liters (150 liters net)

for 16-25 Kg, with one automatic hinge door.

The vessel is supported by two arms which are

also used to rotate the vessel for loading (45°),

treatment (0°) and unloading (180°) positions.

The vessel is turned by a motor, and the positions

are indicated by magnetic switches.

The unit includes an internal steam generator

(18KW), automatically controlled by the electronic

system. The vessel is constructed with internal

sprinklers for an automatic cleaning process.

The vessel is equipped with a multipurpose shredder/

crusher blade on the bottom. It is regulated by an

electric motor which drives the knife shaft . The shaft

connects the knife to the motor through the bearing

housing and the sealing area. The motor is of 5.5kW

and is sufficient to rotate the shaft with an RPM of 300-

1400 for various operations. The blades are mounted

on the shaft and are designed in a way that it shreds

waste such as sharps, dialyzers, papers, cloth, plastic

and glass. The blade is made of high carbon steel with

hardened cutting edges.
