My parents told me that even as a child I always had a very vivid, creative mind. I can remember

being in my middle school drama class assisting with making the

costumes, decorating our class float for homecoming parade and even giving my Mom an outline of how I wanted my birthday parties to be.

My stronger desire for creativity came in 8th grade from my English teacher, Mrs. Nash. She introduced

me to poetry. For me poetry was my outlet to everything and it

nurtured what is now my mind of endless ideas! I wanted to share

with you my journey from where I started (December 2003) to where I am now……..Thank you all for your support and UniquleU is looking to make a complete “Hello World UniquleU is HERE” in 2013!

Our LogoI started out with a homemade logo. I was online, searching for stacked boxes. I’m unsure why I chose stack boxes but I did. It only took me a short time to create the logo. I can remember being so proud when the business cards came in from Vista Prints! Everyone that I came in contact with received a business card. It was soon that I realized I’d outgrown my 1st logo. I reached out to Brian M., a close friend, and tasked him with creating my new logo. It was created with the intent of catering to children events only. This was the audience that I wanted my business to target. In September 2011 I was in Michael’s (one of my favorite places) and I met Mary Elizabeth who was a caterer. We exchanged info, I checked out her site…..loved it and she referred me to Saga who went on to create my website, the 3rd logo and my final now UniquleU logo!

Science Party ~ 1st Party This was the first party that I did. It

was a Science Party for my son. I have to admit that it was a really creative event. I was so proud of the eyeball cake! Especially since I am really not a baker! I took white garbage bags, cut the arms and necks out and wrote the children’s names with a sharpie on them. The goggles were made out of construction paper and sandwich bags! My garage was converted to a lab. I lined the walls and garage doors with black plastic table cloths, lined up some tables and prepared them for science projects. We made ooeey gooey slime, gumball buildings, lava lamps and did some really cool science experiments. I can’t begin to tell you what a success the party was. Parents & children alike said it was the best birthday party they had ever been to!

Princess party ~ 1st Paid Party

This party was a really special party that I was able to do for my Aunt Addie. She contacted me and said she wanted to throw our little cousin Angelica, my deceased Uncle’s daughter, a Princess Party. Her budget was $100 and she wanted to have it at her house. I was thrilled about the party but more to do it for one of my favorite Aunts. The children had a blast. We played games, decorated cookies, blew bubbles……it was such a heartwarming feeling knowing that UniquleU was able to provide this celebration! Rest in peace Aunt Addie and thank you for giving me my 1st dollar from my 1st paid event.

Custom Gifts

I’ve always loved to create things….unique things that you don’t see in stores. My creations are able to address every occasion and any recipient. It’s always been my motto…….

“Need a gift, make it…….”

“I was looking for a simple gift for someone special and a friend recommended Sheila Bailey. So I spoke with Sheila and told her what I was looking for, as well as my budget. When Sheila presented me with the product I was speechless. Sheila’s unique style and creativity made the recipient of the gift smile in a way I had never seen. Would I recommend her services? Without a doubt!” --Jason G.

Custom boxes & baskets

I have currently made over 70 boxes/baskets. I love the entire process of taking a clients information about their special someone and being able to seal their personality up in a box! No two boxes/baskets have been the same and certainly each one has been unique!

“The Mother’s Day Basket was a big hit!! My Mother loved EVERYTHING that was included, especially the Smokey Robinson CD and the perfume. She thought it was one of her best presents to date! I will definitely be getting her birthday present via “Uniqu le U” and my Dad’s Father’s Day gift! Thank you Sheila for your personal touch and attention to details – you made me look good! Love Ya!” –Marva B.

Giving back is a very important part of life. UniquleU has and will continue to work in and around the community to give as much as we can, to help as many as we can. Our goal for 2013 is to do one project per month.

ClienteleUniquleU has been blessed to work with a large number of customers. As I look back at where we began I am truly amazed at how we have grown. With each event large and small, each basket, custom gift we have improved in skill, service, networking and the improvements will continue to be part of our growth!

UniquleU has performed over 100 parties since December 2003. Just to think that our very first party had a budget of $100 & 25 children. I am so thankful to God for carrying my business to this point and am truly excited about where my business is about to go. I couldn’t provide all the details in this presentation from start to now (pictures etc.) but I am with hopes that this has given you a glimpse to Uniqu le U then and UniquleU Events by Sheila now. This is my love, my passion the talent that God has placed in the depths of my soul to bless others with. My prayer for each of you for 2013 is to find what makes your eyes shine, your heart flutter and your life on this earth a lot more tolerable. Believe me finding your passion is a feeling that only those that have tapped into theirs can explain. The peace, yes the peace that it brings to your life.

“If there is no passion in your life, then have you really lived? Find your passion, whatever it may be. Become it,

and let it become you and you will find great things happen FOR you, TO you and BECAUSE of you.”

~T. Alan Armstrong
