A WATERY WORLD

• Earth is almost completely covered with water.

• Oceans are gigantic pools of salty water that stretch many thousands of miles around Earth. There are five big oceans on our planet.

• To find the biggest one, turn the globe until you see a side that is almost all blue. That’s the Pacific Ocean.

• If you turn the globe to the opposite side, you’ll find the Atlantic Ocean.

• The next ocean is located near a country called India, and it is the Indian Ocean.

• The smallest oceans are the Arctic Ocean, around the North Pole, and the Antarctic Ocean, around the South Pole.
