•The small intestine is the longest part of the digestive tract. Nutrients pass into the blood through its walls.

•The stomach is where the food mixes with gastric juices.

•The pancreas helps in the digestion of proteins

•The large intestine absorbs water which passes to the blood.And finally, undigested substances are expelled through the anus.
