Unit 3 Quiz This is a short answer quiz designed to give some indication of the depth of coverage you may expect to encounter on the upcoming final exam. It will help you study for the exam. Most of the questions correspond to the multiple choice questions on the final, so the answers are at most a couple lines long. For the true/false questions first indicate the answer, then indicate why the statement is true or false. Unlike the previous quizzes, this quiz is much more graphical in nature. Most of the answers will involve labeling things correctly and perhaps elaborating on their functions. Keep your answers concise, in some cases a few words will suffice. The questions are all worth one point each. Your answers are to be typed. Handwritten submissions will not be accepted. See the essay formatting guidelines for typing instructions. However, last minute, hand written, amendments to your answers are acceptable. And remember to identify the assignment and put your name on it. 01-04: Refer to the diagram below: 01. Is the direction of the neural impulse correctly indicated by arrow A or arrow B? 02. What are the structures indicated by letter C and what do they do? 03. What are the structures indicated by letter D and what do they do? 04. What does the myelin sheath do?
