CLEAN DOOR (I3PO)■■ i3PO, is a 30mm deep tabbed access door.■■ Suitable for uninsulated applications.■■ Designed to minimise any intrusion inside the ductwork, and prevent contaminants gathering at the door.

■■ Comes with fitted hygiene plate, safety chains and handles as standard for easy cleaning.

■■ Suitable for square and round ductwork.

DEEP CLEAN DOOR (I76)■■ i76, is a 76mm deep tabbed access door.■■ Suitable for insulated applications.■■ Suitable for multi-compartment insulated kitchen extract.

■■ Comes with fitted hygiene plate and safety chains as standard.

■■ Suitable for square and round ductwork.

■■ The hygiene plate is designed to minimise the intrusion of contaminants, increasing the life span of the door seals and making it easier to keep clean.

MAINTENANCE

1 For recommended cleaning procedures, please refer to the HVCA publication TR/19 “Guide to Good Practice – Cleanliness of Ventilation Systems”.

2 Inspect the locking mechanism to ensure it is performing correctly. Replace if necessary.

3 Inspect the seal to ensure it is intact and clean of contaminants. Replace if necessary with SAFE4® fire rated gasket.

4 Ensure the tabs in the door frame are securely connected to the ductwork. Re-secure if necessary.

COMPLIANCESAFE4® Access Doors comply with the following regulations:

1 The performance characteristics of the fire rated duct must be continued through ancillary equipment to ensure the fire resistance of the system is maintained [ASFP Blue Book B.3 pg 43]. The SAFE4® Access Doors will maintain a system tested to EN 1366-1/8/9, to the performance criteria of the door as outlined on page 2.

2 SAFE4® Access Doors have been tested in a Horizontal and a Vertical orientation, in keeping

with the requirements of the test standards EN 1366-1/8/9, and are approved for all orientations.

3 SAFE4® Access Doors have been tested where combustible linings have been measured, in keeping with the requirements of the test standards EN 1366-1/8/9, and are suitable for use in kitchen extract systems.

4 SAFE4® Access Doors have been tested to have a leakage of less than 10m3/h per 1m2. SAFE4® Access Doors have achieved a leakage of less than 5m3/h per 1m2 and thus carry a classification of "S" low leakage.

1 Select location of access door (top or sides only).

2 Never fit to underside of ductwork.

3 Fit giving consideration for clearance and ease of use.

4 Size of ope is calculated as door size -30mm, e.g. 450×450 door, ope size cut 420×420.

5 Mark ductwork and cut access.

6 Fit the tabbed frame, hammering tabs securely to the ductwork, on the top or sides, subject to access.

7 For kitchen extract ductwork to be compliant to the specification DW172 that access doors are installed at 3 meter centres.
