1.1. WHAT IS MONEY?Money is a means of payment that allows goods and services

to be exchanged.

There are several ways to pay for our purchases:

Bank card: a magnetic tool that allows us to pay without cash. The amount of the purchase is charged to a bank account.

Electronic payment: a payment transaction conducted over the Internet.

What is a company?A company is an organisation that manufactures products (e.g. pencils, computers or cars) and/or provides services (cinema, amusement park, transport) in exchange for financial benefit.

Also, there are organisations whose main objective is not to obtain money, but to do something positive for society. For example: NGOs.

Companies need:- Material resources: raw materials and tools.- Human resources: employees- Financial resources: money

2.3. COMPANY ORGANISATION-Some small companies are owned and managed by a single person.-Larger companies are usually owned and managed by several people. These companies contain various departments:

A GAMEIn which department do I work?
