Notes: Centres that require a visiting examiner for unit 6FR01 option B and unit 6FR03 option B must have notified Edexcel by the date specified in the Key Dates section of this Information Manual and in the Notes section of the GCE June timetable. Instructions on how to request a visiting examiner are available on the French subject page of the Edexcel website. A visiting examiner is only available to centres with enough candidates for the equivalent of at least 10 tests (morning or afternoon of examining). No exceptions can be made to this rule. Centres should note that an entry for unit 6FR01 option B and unit 6FR03 option B does not automatically entitle the centre to a visiting examiner. A request must be made via the established procedure, by the deadline stated, for the centre to be eligible for a visiting examiner. In accordance with Edexcel’s Safeguarding Children Policy, it is the centre’s duty to provide a responsible adult to chaperone the visiting examiner for the duration of the oral examination. Spanish Notes: Centres that require a visiting examiner for unit 6SP01 option B and unit 6SP03 option B must have notified Edexcel by the date specified in the Key Dates section of this Information Manual and in the Notes section of the GCE June timetable. Instructions on how to request a visiting examiner are available on the Spanish subject page of the Edexcel website. A visiting examiner is only available to centres with enough candidates for the equivalent of at least 10 tests (morning or afternoon of examining). No exceptions can be made to this rule. Centres should note that an entry for unit 6SP01 option B and unit 6SP03 option B does not automatically entitle the centre to a visiting examiner. A request must be made via the established procedure, by the deadline stated, for the centre to be eligible for a visiting examiner. In accordance with Edexcel’s Safeguarding Children Policy, it is the centre’s duty to provide a responsible adult to chaperone the visiting examiner for the duration of the oral examination.
