UNILAB UNIT SELECTOR Over 300 customers in 50 countries UNILAB UNIT SELECTOR specifically analyzes the units at the following modalities: direct expansion, pump evaporator, cooling, condensing and heating. Allows you to work both in selection and in verify. In selection mode, the user can se- lect a range of units while in verify mode and it is possible to select only a single unit. During the calculation, it is possi- ble to force the software to use always the nominal air flow or fan balance point. Furthermore, the calculation of the number of circuits can be done in an automatic way. It is possible to calculate the noise from the curve of the fan. There is also the possibility to insert a automatic calculation of the connections. The user can manage their data efficiently with the help of the easy tool UNILAB USEL MANAGEMENT. Currently, UNILAB UNIT SELECTOR, like all software UNILAB, using a wide variety of fluids: it contains the thermody- namic and thermophysical properties with 12 mixtures of liquids and a list of more than 300 liquids, gases and refriger- ants from the REFPROP NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Optional module: COMMERCIAL LICENSES: for the Sales Department, which includes the SELECTION Module. Available packages of 25, 50, 100 that do not include the UNILAB USEL MANAGEMENT. It is a tool developed by UNILAB for companies in the HVAC industry, who need to select and estimate unit coolers, air coolers, remote condensers and dry coolers that are generated from a library of precomposed modules. The software allows to make in quickly and accurately way the selection and estimation of ventilation units. Module means the insertion of a ventilation section (one or more fans), a finned packed heat exchanger section (one or more coils) and an additional section comprising the carpentry. During the calculation, the software will create the units automatically, using the preloaded modules and generation rules. For generation rules, UNILAB means all information necessary to create the unit starting from a module.
