Reforestation means?

Why do we reforest forests?

Page 14: Unit Topic: Environment and Us Grade 5 Science LEARNING OBJECTIVES Students will - explore ways of conserving natural habitats - know and state the differences

We reforest so that:

The negative effects of deforestation can be reduced. We would have more oxygen and cleaner air to breathe (plants take in carbon dioxideand give off oxygen). Climate changes will be reduced. We can conserve natural habitats of animals and save them from becoming endangered and extinct.
