Clashes reportedly started again on Monday morning in Farax and Sana junctions. The confrontation initially started in Hawl-Wadag and Wardhiigley district, parallel to Industrial road in Black Sea, Ala Kamin and Bar Ubah areas, then extended southwards and eastwards towards Boondheere and Yaaqshiid districts. Government forces managed to push back opposition forces on Sunday morning. The conflict area stabilized that day along 30 Street (Jidka Sodonka). Latest information (11 May 13.00) indicates that clashes have erupted in K7 area that is the main exit point leading to the Afgooye Corridor. UNHCR partners report that as of 13 May evening around 20.000 persons however the latest detailled breackdown of IDP population has been established on 12 May for 17.000 IDPs coming from Hodan, Hawl-Wadag, Wardiighley and Yaaqshiid Districts, mainly towards the Afgooye Corridor (8.400), Kaaraan and Heliwa Districts (4.440) and Kaax- Shiiqaal/Dharkeynley District (1.200).
