PROPOSALS
• Proposals should include an Operational Requirements Worksheet (ORW)
• ORW is produced using POLAR ICE software, linked through Fastlane or polar.org– Allow sufficient time– Use the tutorial, help files, and online help– Be as thorough and accurate as possible

GRANTS
• Once funded, project specific planning may begin a year or more in advance
• Support Information Package (SIP) due 15 April
• Similar to ORW, SIP is produced using POLAR ICE
• SIP should reflect ORW, only more detail
