MISSION STATEMENT
The Peace Corps' mission has three simple goals:
1.Helping the people of interested countries in meeting their need for trained men and women.
2.Helping promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served.
3.Helping promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.

In 1961, President John F. Kennedy established the Peace Corps to promote world peace and friendship.

WHERE/WHO DO WE HELP?
In 1961, the first Peace Corps Volunteers accepted assignments to serve in six countries. Since then, nearly 210,000+ men and women have served in 139 countries.
Some of these Countries include, but are not limited too:
Afghanistan India Russia
Argentina Jordan South Africa
Chile Kenya South Korea
China Madagascar Togo
Fiji Poland Turkey
