Accessible Design

Universal Design =

Universal design doesn’t place focus on people with disabilities.

Instead, it recognizes that no one has the same definition of “normal.”

Provides safer, easier and convenient accessibility to

everyone, everywhere.

Use of the design is easy to understand, regardless of the user ’s experience,

knowledge, language skil ls or concentration.

PERCEPTIBLE INFORMATION

The design communicates information eectively to the user, regardless of the

environment or the user ’s abil it ies

TOLERANCE FOR ERRORThe design minimizes hazards and

negative consequences of accidental actions.

UNDO

LOW PHYSICAL EFFORTThe design can be used eciently and cofortably and with a minimum of fatigue.

SIZE AND SPACE FORAPPROACH AND USE
