6.1. Unit installationSelectlocationfordisplay.Alocationoutofdirectsunlightprovidesbestvisibility.Theunitmaybemountedfromabulkheadorinstalledinaflushpanel.Panelcutoutdimensionsaregiveninthespecifications.

6.2. Power connectionWARNING: All electric connections with external units must be hooked-up strictly via the existing cable entries; that must be further sealed by tightening the elements of the cable glands.

Checkthepolaritywhenconnectingthedatacable,otherwisethereareno-dataordata-losesituationmaytakeaplace.

8. MaintenanceInordertokeepUDR-6(x)properlyfunctioningduringoperationalperiod,routingmaintenanceshouldbeperformed.

Firstroutingmaintenanceincludesperiodical(nolessthanonceperhalf-year)visualinspectionwithdustremovalusingsofttissueandabrushandperformancemonitoringonthevisualbasis:LEDsglowing,voltageatload,switchingtothebackupmode.

SecondroutingmaintenanceshouldbeperformedwhenfaultsofUDR-6(x)aredetectedandincludesperformancecheckoftheUnitincompliancewithcorrespondingsectionsofthepresentManual.

Ifit’simpossibletofixthefaultsofUDR-6(x)onthespot,itshouldbeforwardedtorepairs.

9. Transportation and storageTransportationisperformedusingthecardboardwrapperatanyenclosedtransportfacility.

UDR-6(x)mustbestoredinenclosedspaceat–20…+45°C.
