Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat accessories are needed? One PCIe network interface card (NIC), Lan/Crossover cables and probably a switch/hub if more than one satellite must be connected. Do we have accessories in portfolio?Yes, see Starter Kit on slide 5, includes network card + license, NO switch, NO LAN cable.Does other NIC than INTEL xxx work?Yes, but not officially supported by IGELAre there specific reasons for using UD3, UD5 or UD9 instead of UD2 as satellite? In general graphic intense applications above the task worker level might require more graphic performance even on the satellite. Due to this UD3, UD5 or UD 9 might make sense. The UD5 in particular might be focused if 4 digital outputs are a must have. UD9 might be used in space constraint environments.
