Universal Plastic Pail Lidding Machine
SPECIFICATIONSTo close lids on plastic pails and tubs from 75mm to 500 mm in height (approx. 500 ml to 20 litres).
• Unit designed, fabricated and guarded to meet all applicable Australian standards
• Unit has Risk Assessment Certificate to conform to all applicable Australian Safety Standards
• Full 304 Stainless Steel construction (or 316 for special requests) to suit food processing applications
• Unit guarded by clear 4.5 mm polycarbonate sheet over entire conveyor and lidding rollers. Polycarbonate doors (9.5 mm) on each side of lidding section for setup and cleaning purposes. Doors incorporate Category 1 safety switches
• Belt speed variable between 4 and 10 m/min (controlled by SEW VSD)• SEW 0.55 Kw motor IP55• 100 mm diameter drums on the conveyor section using a 3mm thick PVC Belt• 900mm guard tunnel at each end of conveyor to prevent operators reaching in while machine is operating (minimum safety distance to conform to Australian Safety Standards)
• The lidding roller section is height adjustable (driven by Servo Drives) controlled by a panel push button
• Three standard (or five for special requests) user programmable presets to memorize different pail heights
• Slide and hide touch pad controller to adjust or program heights• Control/power panel mounted in upper frame keeping the cabinet within frame limits
• ON/OFF and Emergency buttons• Isolation switch at one side of the box• 10 Amp – 5 pin plug and 6 metres of lead included• Under rollers in conveyor bed to assist the lidding rollers and to prevent the belt from jamming or slipping
