INTRODUCCION

131 disefio e implementaci6n del sistema minimo se dividi6 en dos tareas el Hardware ( que corresponde a la parte electr6nica ) y el Software ( que corresponde a la parte de computaci6n ) El microprocesador 80188 pertenece a la familia inte1,y es un microprocesador de 8 bits y puede correr a una velocidad de 10 Mhz,es también llamado microcontrolador debido a que contiene un microprocesador 8088 y perif6ri- cos internos.

La versatilidad que da el microprocesador 80188 a compa- raci6n de otros microprocesadores de 8 bits por ejemplo ,Z-80 de Zilog,6800 de Motorola,e incluso el 8031,8051,80- 85,8088 de Inte1,es que se puede manipular con el Softwa- re,y Hardware existente para el microprocesador 8088 y su Set de instrucciones es mas extenso que el del 8088,y comparado con el 8088 reduce la circuiterfa necesaria para armar un sistema minimo. Por el contrario el utilizar un microprocesador que

maneja mayor numero de bits y mayor velocidad como el 80286,80386,80486,implica mayor costo,sin aprovechar a su mdximo los recursos del sistema.

En el disefio de Hardware fueron utilizados varios paque- tes de disefio electr6nico como OrCad Ver 1.25, OrCad Ver II1,en donde el disefio se implemento con la técnica de Wire Wrap,donde se realizaron las pruebas ffsicas.

Para el disefio de Software fueron utilizados también varios paquetes de ayuda y simulaci6n de Software como el DEBUG del Sistema Operativo MS-DOS, TURBO ASSAMBLER,MACRO ASSAMBLER,EXEDOSBIN, y otros.

x En la parte de laboratorio se auxilio principalmente del { analizador 16gico,que fue de gran ayuda.

Durante las pruebas existieron varias versiones,las cuales al cambiar el Hardware, hacian tambih que cambiara el Software.

Al llegar a una versidn que cumplid con el’prop6sito del disefio se opto por realizarlo en un circuito impreso, para lo cual se utilizaron varios paquetes de disefio de circui- tos impresos y se decidid por utilizar el OrCad PCB ya que era compatible con el trabajo realizado anteriormente.

EL HARDWARE ESTA CONSTITUIDO POR :

Un microprocesador 80188

C.1 74LS245 Buffers Bidireccionales de 3 Estados para el Bus de Datos.

C.1 74LS373 Buffers Unidireccionales de 3 Estados para el Bus de Direcciones.

Memorias EEPROM 2764 Para el Programa monitor.

Memorias EEPROM 2716 Para decodificar los Displays.

Memorias RAM 6264 Para cargar los Programas de Aplica cidn.

Controladores de Teclado y Display C.I. 8279.

Controlador de Puertos Programables C.1 8255.

Controlador de Puerto Serie C.1 8250A

C.I. 1488 y 1489 Como Amplificadores de Entrada y Salida Para el Puerto Serie.

C.I. 8288 Para controlar los Buses.

Buzzer para indicar los errores.

2 Puertos Paralelos uno de usuarios y el otro para la impresora.

1 Puerto Serie con reloj externo.

Displays de 16 Segmentos.

Teclado de 25 Teclas.

Resistencias y Capacitores Bypass.

EL SOFTWARE ( Programa Monitor )

Este programa inicializa todos los perifgricos programa- bles,y manda mensajes al usuario por medio del display. Siempre esta en el comando de espera, para ejecutar rutinas,como la autoverificacidn 6 alguna tarea especifica . Esta programado de una manera genera1,de tal manera que puede reprogramarse con un programa introducido por medio del teclado,este programa lo guarda en memoria ram o sea que al apagar el K I T se pierde el programa.

La aplicacidn del sistema minimo no esta limitada,a diferencia de un K I T tradicional, contiene perifericos que lo pueden conectar a una computadora tradicional y trans- ferirse informacidn,pero tambih puede trabajar como una computadora si se la insertan tarjetas de computadoras,es- to es que puede trabajar como un K I T con el display de 16 Segmentos y el teclado de 25 Teclas o como una computadora con el monitor ( Mono,CGA,EGA,VGA o SVGA) dependiendo de la tarjeta que se inserte,^ un teclado de hasta 256 ( el teclado normal es de 103 teclas).

A continuacidn se presentan los listados y diagramas de los circuitos utilizados en la implementacidn del sistema minimo del microprocesador 80188,asi como el programa monitor escrito en lenguaje ensamblador.

Cabe mencionar que se realizo el disefio para el circuito impreso de doble cara ,este disefio necesito de varias depuraciones y reducciones de tamafio,en el paquete OrCad Pcb,para obtener los diagramas esquematicos,sacar los negativos y realizar el circuito impreso en serie por medio de tecnicas fotogrbficas.

Lo mbs dif Scil del impreso es realizar los true holes,que con ayuda del personal del laboratorio de instrumentaci6n del departamento de biomedica,se logro realizar.
