SAP Introductory: (5 days)

The introductory course for the SAP University Alliances has been completely revamped for 2008. This is a five-day workshop.

It will provide participants with a thorough grounding in the new content – Global Bicycle Incorporated (GBI dataset) where all future global curricula will be based on.

The intent of the workshop is two fold:

1) to provide an excellent opportunity for faculty members who are new to the University Alliances to learn the basics of SAP and

2) to provide hands on experience with the new curriculum content that faculty members can use to deliver education to students at University Alliances campuses.

From basic navigation to an overview for each of the major functional areas of SAP's software suite, the new introductory course uses a bicycle manufacturer as the case company to explain organizational structure and business processes within the SAP framework.

Prerequisites: None. Hence, good for all new universities and academics who are not exposed to SAP at all.
