Orders of the Deputy Registrar in file of even no dated 30.10.2012 O R D E R Vide paper read first above, Choice based Credit Semester System and Grading has been introduced for UG programmes under School of Distance Education /Private mode of this University with effect from 2011 admission onwards. Vide paper read second above, orders were issued to implement the additions to clause1 of the Regulations governing the Choice based Credit Semester System ,U.G programmes in School of Distance Education /Private mode as follows: The Syllabus of U.G programmes under Choice based Credit Semester System will be the same for the Regular, School of Distance Education and Private mode. The number of Courses and Credits of School of Distance Education /Private mode will be the same as that of Regular programme except for B.A Programmes. For B.A Programmes there will be one complementary course in each semester with 4 Credits. The complementary Course in 1st and 4th semesters and 2nd and 3rd semesters will be the same.

Vide paper read third the Syllabus of Common courses Urdu under Choice based credit semester system in School of Distance Education/Private mode was implemented with effect from 2012 admission which was also made applicable for 2011 admission. Vide paper read fourth the School of Distance Education has sought a clarification on the code numbers of common course Urdu syllabus Choice based credit semester system/ Private mode . The School of Distance Education has mentioned that the code numbers of common course Urdu were missing in the Syllabi. Vide paper read fifth the Board of Studies Chairman, Urdu and Persian forwarded the Urdu Common course Syllabi for School of Distance Education/Private stream with the correct code numbers. Vide paper read sixth the Deputy Registrar has ordered that the Syllabi may be forwarded to School of Distance Education and Pareeksha Bhavan urgently. Sanction has therefore been accorded for implementing the syllabus of Common courses of Urdu with correct code numbers for B.A/BSc/BCom Programmes under Choice based Credit Semester System in School of Distance Education /Private mode of this University with effect from 2012 admission onwards applicable for 2011 admission also.
