The office of Global Affairs advances UC Davis’ internationalization strategy to enhance its global impact and engagement.
Vision:
Global Affairs’ vision is to support all members of the campus community in attaining their global initiatives and aspirations.

• University Outreach and International Programs office, created in 1999, was renamed Global Affairs in 2014
• Nearly half of UC Davis faculty are involved in international activities
• Approximately 15-20% of UC Davis undergrads study abroad during their UC Davis career
• UC Davis enjoys 165 active international cooperative agreements with benchmark universities
• International alumni groups – 30 chapters/networks
• Approximately 40% of new faculty in last decade have been international scholars

• The Fulbright Program is the U.S government’s flagship program in international educational exchange
• Provides funding for students, scholars, and professionals to undertake graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and teaching in elementary and secondary schools
• This year UC Davis is hosting 11 Fulbright Visiting Scholars
