The University set aside research seed fund to the tune of TZS 1,400,000,000/= (One Billion Four Hundred Million Tanzanian Shillings) in this academic year. TZS. 1,000,000,000/= (One Billion Tanzanian Shillings) was allocated for Mwalimu Nyerere Mlimani Campus while the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) and the Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) each set aside TZS. 200,000,000/= (Two Hundred Million Shillings). WINNERS OF THE 2ND CALL FOR PROPOSAL FOR COMPETITIVE RESEARCH AND INNOVATION GRANTS (2019/2020)

The University of Dar es Salaam is pleased to announce winners of the 2nd Call for Proposal for Competitive Research and Innovation Grants (2019/2020) which was announced on 1st August 2019. The University set aside research seed fund to the tune of TZS 1,400,000,000/= (One Billion Four Hundred Million Tanzanian Shillings) in this academic year. TZS. 1,000,000,000/= (One Billion Tanzanian Shillings) was allocated for Mwalimu Nyerere Mlimani Campus while the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) and the Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE) each set aside TZS. 200,000,000/= (Two Hundred Million Shillings). This year’s call attracted a total of 231 proposals which were received from different Colleges,

Schools, and Institutes of UDSM Main campus as well as from DUCE and MUCE academic departments. Forty eight (48) proposals have been selected for funding support as shown in the table below:
