UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON PRESENTS FACULTY MUSIC RECITAL

DAYTON, Ohio-- The University of Dayton's music department will present "Music

of the Forest, Field and Hunt," a faculty recital featuring hom soloist Richard Chenoweth,

associate professor of music at UD, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 3, in the Sears Recital Hall in

the Jesse Philips Humanities Center on campus.

Admission is free and open to the public.

"The program will consist of music with the feelings of nature and the outdoors," says

Chenoweth. Compositions by Eugene Bozza, Helmut Schimdt, Franz Schubert, Joe Balay,

Giovanni Punto, Albert Dopple and Catherine Hoover will be included.

Other musicians performing are soprano Linda Snyder, an associate professor of music

at UD; Marianne Chenoweth on flute; Phillip Farris, accompanist for the Cincinnati Opera, on

piano; and the UD Hom Ensemble.
