Project Description:
Type of project: Residential
Locations: South of Fremantle WA - Australia
This project is built on an island along the south
coastal of Fremantle, called Port Coogee. This is a
very large scale project, with total area up to2500ha. Therefore, the project was divided into 12stages, and they are designed and constructedsequential. At the present time, stage 1 is under
construction, 6 other stages have been documentedand ready to go for construction stage, the rest of 5
stages are in the concept design or designdevelopment stages. Most of the buildings are high-class residential ones, with beautiful view toward thesea and plenty of public open space. The concept
design for the whole project is a story about sanddunes built by windy blow, erosion sand-stone,
bending trees by strong wind, and 3 wrecks alongthe coastal line. They are there since the 19thcentury.

Project Description:
Type of project: Office
Locations: Hanoi Vietnam
This project is situated in the very center of Hanoi City, therefore it needs to be an interconnectedcomplex, an unique and unity space, an useable landscape space, which to improve the usage ofthe site.
As being a project for a cement corporation; clinker, rocks and mountains are adopted to be theoriginal idea for the design. The concept is about creating an interconnected complex of buildings,
appearing like an archipelago. Greening areas, water surfaces are brought in, to be the background, the elements to connect the
whole site together. Those spaces will turn the site to be an environment friendly design, acting as alung for even larger surrounding areas.

Project Description:
Type of project: Mixed-use
Locations: Binhduong Vietnam This is a large scale project, total area is 20ha. This is supposed to be the leading model of a new
style of an Integrated Administration and Political Centre in Vietnam, where all the Government
Organizations and Unions, and Guest House of a province are hold in one place.
The concept design is based on the image of an Opening Gate, which represents a welcoming
and friendly city, a city which has potential of good investing opportunities. This image is alsoreflect the characters of people here: Open-mind, honest, friendly, and dynamic.
Sustainable is the key theme in this project, and was carefully researched and applied. Rainwater
collection system, reducing heat absorbing, environment friendly material are some of the mainfeatures of the project.

Tran Thao is a Vietnamese Architect, graduated in UK, with 5 years post graduate professional
experience, which includes 1.5 year overseas working experience. During this time she has gainedexperience in architectural design in many UK , Australian and Vietnam projects.
