c. November 20th 1957: Inaugurated by President Ir.Soekarno, and became the seventh state university inIndonesia

MISSION :1. To mobilize the internationalization of education and research in USU through
provision of professional services.2. To maintain and develop network with international educational and research
institutions which is integrated in one unit.3. To establish network with international business industry and community in
promoting USU abroad/overseas.4. To establish efficient and professional administration in related international
activities in education and research.
OBJECTIVES :1. To promote the performance and reputation of USU in the ranks of World
