Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) is proud to launch the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) program. CGCC is one of the few community colleges to offer UAS FAA Part 107 Certification prep courses, as well as a certificate and associate degree. The UAS program serves to provide students with career training education and preparation for a growing, innovative industry.

According to the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI), the rate of growth for UAS jobs is projected at 100,000 by 2025. AUVSI forecasts that Arizona is expected to have over 4,000 jobs (i.e. engineering, data collection, analysis, security) by 2025. We’re proud to invest in educating and equipping the next generation of the UAS workforce to meet the demands of Arizona’s industries. Industries demanding UAS technology include:
