Ireland’s pharmaceutical cluster is supported by a sophisticated infrastructure of serviced sites and public utilities as well as a network of specialist support companies and services. Our reputation as a global hub for pharmaceutical multinationals allowed for a number of indigenous contractors to develop to service the sector, positioning Ireland today as a major player in Pharmaceutical Engineering. Since 1983, BCD has delivered high purity process systems worldwide to the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Food & Beverage and Chemical industries. With particular expertise in Product Formulation, Clean in Place, Clean Utilities and Thermal Treatment, our engineers are continually challenged to develop innovative process, mechanical & automation solutions.

We did recent projects with GSK-Bio (Media-buffer hold), Sanofi-Genzyme (buffer tanks, &CIP systems, DSP(thermal treatment) , Allergan, Danone and EDF-France(Carbon-capture)

Our solutions can be constructed as Modular Skids in our skid workshops comprising of 4000m2 of assembly space with dedicated testing utilities and facilities; or they can be part assembled, piped and wired on site by our field installation team. BCD’s 5000m2 vessel workshop is a market leader in its own right. Dedicated to stainless steel and high alloy materials, it can accommodate the smallest pilot scale process vessels to the largest shop-built brewing fermentors.

Once the systems are fully assembled on site, dedicated teams of engineers experienced with automation integration, commissioning and testing, take the systems through IQ, OQ and PQ as required to allow a smooth handover with training to the client at the end of the project. ProSys Containment and Sampling Technology specialise in the design and manufacture of containment and aseptic isolators, gloveboxes and sampling solutions to meet the ever changing requirements of the pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical industries. T.E.Laboratories - the Science of Chemistry

T.E. Laboratories manufacture a wide range of chemical solutions with an emphasis on analytical standards, buffers and pharmacopoeia reagents. Working closely with our customers, we are continually expanding our product range and we have an active R&D department. Recently, a full range of new online instrumentation reagents has been developed and launched. Other new additions to the range include pharmaceutical excipient test kits and dissolution solutions. Sub-contract manufacturing is carried out on site with bespoke packaging and labelling available. We always welcome new enquiries.

At Achema we will launch AquaMonitrix™, an easy-to-use, early warning pollution detection device for use in rivers and waterways. State-of-the-art microfluidic technology is used in conjunction with reagent based chemistry to provide a system which monitors pH, nitrate and nitrite simultaneously in real-time with wireless remote monitoring. AquaMonitrix™ will be on display at our stand.
