Germany is the world’s third biggest exporter of small arms (pistols and rifles) and the fifth biggest exporter of major weapons systems (war vessels, fighter jets and main battle tanks). Germany sells weapons to countries that are warring. These weapons are used to violate human rights, kill millions of people or make them flee their homes.
CIVILIANS – PARTICULARLY WOMEN AND CHILDREN – ARE AFFECTED THE MOST.
WE DON’T NEED WEAPONS FOR GLOBAL PEACE!
WE CALL ON EVERYONE:Peace organisations, churches, unions, scientists, politici-ans, artists, athletes, colleges, schools, youth associations and everyone else who feels connected to the goal of a peaceful world.

START IN OBERNDORF 21 MAY 2018
The relay starts with a rally at Heckler & Koch in Oberndorf. Heckler & Koch is a German defense manufacturing company that builds and exports handguns, military rifles, submachine guns and grenade launchers. From there the route leads the participants across several defense manufacturing companies to Berlin. Everyone can take part: Either at the relay, at a rally or at one of the numerous activities along the route.
OUR GOALSWe demand: No export of weapons of war and munitions! The arms industry has to be converted into a reasonable, sustainable fabrication for civil use (arms conversion).
