process, it separates control tasks into realtime-critical and non-realtime-critical. The realtime-critical job
package is completely integrated in the innovative AMK MultiServo compact inverter module, and so in the
system at drive level. No industrial hardware is used for non-realtime-critical process control. Mobile standard
devices from the consumer sector are used instead.
In this concept, OPC UA, an up-to-date industrial communication standard, is used to enable the drive and
smartphone to communicate with each other effectively. This, by its nature, supplies all the security
mechanisms necessary for secure communication.
