Colonization

• Internal conflict and tribal revolts were happening for decades due to French influence.

• After WWII Laos was in continuous wars.

• Neither the colonizer or the people had many benefits from the French colonizing Laos.

• Mekong River provides water for agriculture,the two top agriculture crops in Laos are timber and coffee.
