There is a wide range of traditional farm buildings which Tony Bird wishes to redevelop. The sale will include a complete range of architectural salvage collected throughout his working career, including, but not limited to, mahogany reclaimed from ships broken up in the first quarter of the last century, linen fold panelling circa early and mid 16th century, telephone boxes and contents of the carpentry workshop. The Auctioneers envisage there will be approximately 650 lots in total. When travelling south on the A46, at the Stratford roundabout take the second exit signposted Alcester. Continue for approx. 1½ miles before turning right signposted Billesley and then right again after 500 yards. Upper Billesley Farm can be found after 1 mile along this road. To the sale signs will be erected on the morning of the sale. Pre Sale Enquiries: Any pre sale enquiries can be made by contacting Rosie Bird on 07899 928236 or 01789 265577. Value Added Tax: Any items belonging to the Farm, VAT at the current standard rate is payable on each and every lot in addition to the hammer price, unless otherwise stated at the time of the auction. Any personal items, VAT will not be charged, Buyers Premium: A Buyers Premium of 5% with a minimum of £1 per Lot plus VAT and a maximum of £200 per Lot plus VAT will be payable on each and every lot in addition to the hammer price. Collection of Lots: All lots must be removed by Monday 17th August 2020. Refreshments: Light hot and cold refreshments will be available during the sale day. Payment: All lots must be paid for by cash, card or cheque on the day of the sale without exception. Debit and Credit Card transactions are free of charge.
