Memory Maker

Living Inside Out Every Day!

DISTRIBUTEGive a copy of today’s “Living Inside Out Every Day!” handout to each child. Say: This paper has ideas for how you can live inside out this week. Let’s choose our Daily Challenges.

DAILY CHALLENGES™Read aloud the Daily Challenges. Have children circle the one they’ll do this week.

MAKE THE CONNECTIONSay: Throughout this week when you see things God created, say a quick prayer of thanks. We’re thankful God made everything.

PRAYPray: God, we know you created all things. Thank you for all you made and all you do. In Jesus’ name, amen.

YOU’LL NEED Bibles • Bible Memory Makers®

1. DISTRIBUTEHand out a Bible Memory Maker star to each child.

2. SAY THE VERSESay: Part of the Key Verse, Psalm 47:7, is on the star. Let’s look up the full verse and say it together: “For God is the King over all the earth. Praise him with a Psalm!”

3. CALL OUTSay: Let’s call out some kingly actions—for example, a kingly action might be to keep the people of the land safe. Lift up your star and call out some! Ready? Go! Allow about two minutes for kids to call out as many actions as they can think of.

4. DISCUSS• Of the kingly actions you called out, which ones do you most

appreciate in God?

• What’s it like for you to know that God is king over all the earth?

• What are ways you can thank God for being an amazing king?

5. MAKE THE CONNECTIONSay: God created everything and is king over all that he made. He’s in charge of all creation. Since God created everything, he’s the perfect king. And because of that, we’re thankful God made everything. Collect the Bible Memory Makers to use again next week.

ROUND 3 DESIGN 134963 LIO FA12 StarQuest UEMar. 14, 2012

Choose a Challenge!Your child chose the marked challenge for the week. Help your child remember to follow through and live out his or her faith.

CHALLENGE 1Thank God for making everything by telling a friend about how God made everything.

CHALLENGE 2Gather cool things God created, and keep them in a special box. As you put each object in the box, thank God for making that object.

CHALLENGE 3Take a walk, and praise God for all the things you see that he made.

The Inside TruthYour child learned that Job had many questions for God. Job wasn’t sure that God was powerful enough to help him during a really hard time. God reminded Job about all the wonderful things God has done. God is so amazing that he created everything from absolutely nothing! We can thank him for making everything!

Do You Remember?Talk about these questions with your child:

• What’s one thing God mentioned to Job abouthis creation?

• What things are you thankful for in God’s creation?
