Snow is continuing to melt on the upper mountain an ice axe is still useful on the upper portions of the ridge
and on the descent from the Upper Saddle. Crowds have been limited despite good weather the past few days!

snow/ice crossings on the route and to gain access to Wall Street. No axe is necessary to access the Lower
Exum and Pedzolt ridge from the Lower Saddle.

Owen-Spalding Routes. Much of the rock on the routes is dry, however patches of hard snow and
occasionally ice linger in chimneys, ledges, and cracks. Ice axe and crampons are also recommended to access
the Lower Saddle from the Meadows.
