FAU´s privileged object is the urban issue. The teaching at FAU and at USP in general is based on the instruction, research and extension. Our case study is an example of these three types of knowledge.

A FAUUSP tem por objeto privilegiado de atenção a questão urbana. O ensino na FAU, como em toda a USP, tem por base o tripé ensino, pesquisa e extensão.

•The purpose of this project is an unfinished building, eight- stores high, in Bom Retiro, a central neighborhood in São Paulo.

• Objeto da pesquisa: edifício inacabado, encortiçado de 8 andares na rua Sólon, Bom Retiro.
