Changing Citizen Commuting behavior with MaaS platform
The city of Antwerp (Belgium) chooses Microsoft Azure-based Be-Mobile technology to build “SlimNaarAntwerp” Platform. This tool is providing citizens with a MaaS solution to find best way to make their trip by combining different means (car, train, shared bikes, foot). Plan is to avoid 20.000 car movements to city center during rush hours while improving satisfaction. Be-Mobile MobiGo solution uses real-time, historical and in-depth traffic information to enable smart accessibility in and around the city.
@MSFTCityNext Microsoft.com/CityNext
We want to adapt citizens mobility behavior to real traffic issues by
seducing them to commute differently. First step on this strategy is a
Route Planner tool based on Be-Mobile Microsoft Azure – based realtime
Traffic Analysis.
