Before and After
Highway traffic on this rural road was increasing at the rate of 22% per year between 1990 and 1994.
The outcome of this project is a highly unique design that respects the splendor of the area of one of the
most beautiful 45-mile stretches of the National Highway System.

Social, Economic, and Sustainable
Design Design included a continuous bike and pedestrian trail on all 45 miles
of roadway between Lolo and Hamilton.
Before the project, there was no way to safely cross US93 in Victor.
